Pashmina comes from the undercoat of a unique species of goats called the Capra Hircus or 'Chyangra'. These goats are combed to get this exotic natural fiber which is then processed to make pashmina products.
Pashmina wool is obtained from the down fiber of Capra Hircus goats which reside in the mountainous regions 4500m above sea level. This species of goats are unique to Mongolia, Tibet, China, Nepal and India

Pashmina shawls are woven in handloom. The pashmina fibers are sorted and spun into a yarn in a traditional wheel called 'Charkha'. The yarn is loaded into a handloom and woven manually to create exquisite pashmina shawls with intricate designs.
